Central Falls Neighborhood Health Station
The new Central Falls Neighborhood Health Station will be situated on the land directly behind the existing Notre Dame Express Health Care building at 1000 Broad Street but the Neighborhood Health Station is already up and running! The Neighborhood Health Station uses all three BVCHC Central Falls sites; 9 Chestnut Street, 1000 Board Street, and the School Based Health Clinic located in the Central Falls High School. The Central Falls Neighborhood Health Station has developed a team of health care workers who together care for everyone who lives in Central Falls: family doctors, pediatricians, emergency medicine specialists, nurses, obstetricians, midwives, social workers, emergency medical technicians, physical and occupational therapists, recovery coaches, health coaches, community health workers, translators, and others – a whole team of people, dedicated to taking care of every resident of Central Falls, and dedicated to making Central Falls the healthiest community in Rhode Island. The Central Falls Neighborhood Health Station is unique in the US. It is the first clinical enterprise dedicated to enrolling 90 percent of the people in Central Falls, and providing 90 percent of the health services Central Falls needs.
