Behavioral Health
We understand that these are very trying times and our Behavioral Health team is here to help you. We are offering telephone check-ins or virtual video (telehealth) sessions for those seeking behavioral health support. Please don’t let social distancing prevent you from talking to someone or getting the help you need! Our Behavioral Health providers are here for you Monday- Friday 8-5pm.
Blackstone Valley Community Health Care offers behavioral health treatment to support the emotional wellbeing of each patient. Our team works closely with primary care providers to screen and assess the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of each patient. Counseling treatment is provided by highly trained Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Licensed Mental Health Counselors.
Our team includes Spanish, Portuguese, and Creole speaking providers.
Services we provide:
Individual Therapy 1:1 support for patients to help address mental health challenges to change or improve quality of life.
Group Therapy allows patients to receive support from our behavioral health clinicians and other members of the group, helping them to feel less alone or isolated.
Referral Services if you are in need of more intensive, wrap-around services than we can provide, our team can help connect you to local community resources.
Addiction Treatment Services:
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) We now offer MAT to BVCHC patients currently in maintenance phase of treatment. BVCHC does not conduct treatment induction and stabilization. Our care team will determine if you qualify for BVCHC MAT program or if a higher level of care is more beneficial to you.
Under the Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000), physicians are required to complete additional training to qualify a waiver to prescribe and dispense Suboxone (Buprenorphine). Not all of BVCHC providers are DATA waivered and you may receive this treatment from another provider who works with your PCP. Please understand we may utilize patient waitlists if demand for services exceeds the number allowed under Federal regulations.
