What is a School-Based Health Center (SBHC)?

SBHC is a licensed primary care and behavioral health clinic on-site operated by Blackstone Valley Community Health Care (BVCHC).

Who can receive care at SBHC?

All students at CFHS can receive care at the SBHC, not just BVCHC patients. If a student does not have a primary care provider, we are happy to enroll you with BVCHC.

We accept most forms of public and private health insurance. If you do not have insurance, we have enrollment staff at our clinic sites who can help you determine if you qualify for assistance, and help you enroll in the best-fit program. We encourage that you seek medical care regardless of ability to pay. To schedule an appointment with our enrollment staff, please call us at 401-722-0081.

After Hour Coverage

If you need to speak with someone when the SBHC is closed, please call our main call center at 401-722-0081. You can also access care at any clinic site including Express Health at our Blackstone Valley Neighborhood Health Station, 1000 Broad Street, Central Falls.

Please note, the BVCHC School Based Health Center is seasonal: we follow the Central Falls High School calendar
