Perform medical histories and physical examinations; assesses patients’ medical/surgical conditions; administer treatments and in conformity with the approved protocol; advise and counsel patients or legal guardian of patient problems; assist physician as directed.
The Patient Service Representative (PSR) serves as the first point of contact for all individuals contacting the organization by phone or in person. This position will provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of the client during each interaction. The PSR is responsible for effective management of the flow of in-bound calls; greeting and/or screening individuals; preparation and accurate registration of relevant patient appointments; assisting with population health outreach; accurate and efficient appointment scheduling, insurance plan verification; collection of payments; management of forms, insurance cards and patient photos and/or photo identification. In doing so, the PSR proactively and appropriately addresses issues in advance or acts timely to thwart potential workflow, patient satisfaction or safety related issues.#1752

The Medical Assistant Supervisor is responsible for providing supervision and leadership to ensure outstanding patient care in the primary care/medical home model environment. Provides leadership and support to the care team by effective utilization of health information technology, timely administrative decision-making, care loop completion, and documentation enabling other members to practice at the top of their scope of practice. Functions under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director. When performing clinical tasks during patient care functions under the authority of the Physician or Licensed Independent Practitioner.
