The Associate Medical Director is a Clinician who works as part of the care team to provide comprehensive medical services as defined by Board granted clinical privileges.  The Associate Medical Director will take on a leadership role within the clinic and his/her pod and act as mentor to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, as well as a supportive leade role for all other clinic support staff within the pods. The Associate Medical Director will help all members of the clincial team understand and implement the Care Model and any new workflows in conjunction and collaboration with CMO and other Leadership members. Additionally, the Associate Medical Director will act as part of the Chief Medical Officer's clinical leadership team and be responsible for assigned administrative duties as delegated.

Under the general direction of the Executive Director, the Chief Medical Officer is the lead clinican responsible for all aspects of medical patient care services provided by Blackstone Valley Community Health Care (BVCHC), and supports in monitoring the performance of ancillary services such as clinical operations,dental, perinatal, and optometry. Working from a solutions-oriented approach, the Chief Medical Officer monitors clinical performance to ensure medical services and operations are in compliance with all applicable regulatory and licensing agencies. As a member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Medical Officer is responsible for implementing, reviewing and developing clincial portocols, performance objectives, productivity benchmarks, compliance measures, clinician workflow planning and clinician scheduling.

The Community Health Worker is a member of the Community Health Team and acts as link to community-based organizations to faciliate access to health/social services.

Community Health Worker Certification is prefered.  Certification required within 18 months of hire.

The Director of Behavioral Health and Integrated Care is responsible for the design and delivery of behavioral health serivces across all health center departments, directing the department staff, management of the department including is finances, compliance with regulations and requirements, and contributing behavioral health input to the organizational direction of the health center. This position also helps to properly integrate the Clinical Team, with special attention to coordinating the medical team with Behavioral Health and Community Health Team. The Director of BH and IC also will help design and manage the Medication Assisted Treatment project within the rest of the services offered by BVCHC.

Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for full cycle recruitment, benefits administration, and provides assistance with Human Resource processes for all business locations. This position exercises a proactive role in aligning Human Resource programs, processes, and activities with the corporate strategy to gain and retain competitive advantage for the organization.  Assists the Director in the role of change agent to foster and maintain open communications, confidence, high morale and mutual understanding between management and the workforce at all levels. In addition, this role provides administrative support to the human resource function, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.

The individual displays responsible behaviors, communicates effectively to others and functions as a member of healthcare team. The MA must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care. The MA functions under the direct supervision and authority of the provider when performing clinical tasks during patient care.

The Medical Secretary is the first point of contact for visitors/patients entering the clinic.  It is the responsibility of the Medical Secretary to greet visitors/patients, and triage and assess the reasons a patient is at the clinic.  This position will work independently or with the care team,when appropriate, to provide excellent customer service and meet the needs of the patient.

The Quality Assurance Analyst is resposible for supporting practice transformation through process improvement and health information evaluation. This position will work within the Health Information Technology (HIT) department to identify, analyze, and execute initiatives to ensure best-practice processes and optimal HIT use throughout the clinic.  This position will coduct buisness or project needs assessmets, elevate the role of HIT in clinic sessions, support Electronic Medical Records(EMR) administration, and interpret initative results to drive performance improvement through a variety of health information tools.
