The COVID Response Community Health Worker supports COVID-19 testing, vaccination, and other COVID-19 containment and prevention efforts in the community in collaboration with the community partners and stakeholders.
Under the direction of the Chief Operations Officer, manages the daily operations and staff of the practice and plans, organizes and integrates various state and locally funded grant programs into business work flow to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the sites to allow BVCHC to fulfill its mission in the community, and in support of the Patient Centered Medical Home model.
The Dental Secretary is the first point of contact for visitors/patients entering the clinic. It is the responsibility of the Dental Secretary to greet visitors/patients, and triage and assess the reasons a patient is at the clinic. This position will work independently or with the care team, when appropriate, to provide excellent customer service and meet the needs of the patient.
Responsible for the delivery of dental care at the dental center. Diagnoses and treats diseases, injuries and malformations of the teeth, gums and related oral structures.
Provides comprehensive medical services as defined by Board granted clinical privileges.
The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for providing outstanding patient care in the primary care/medical home model environment. The individual displays responsible behaviors, communicates effectively to others and functions as a member of healthcare team. The MA must demonstrate competency in all skills related to the performance of patient care. The MA functions under the direct supervision and authority of the provider when performing clinical tasks during patient care.
